We Are Electric

3rdStream was born out of the friendships and collaborations of London's subterranean live art & music scene. The collective consists of music producers, videographers, visual artists, sculptors, singers, rappers, fashion designers, musicians and poets. Some of the active contributors are Shepherd Manyika, Enji, Kenny Dust, Rich Blk, Gemma Weekes & Son Of Dan. The group’s experience is reflected in their involvement with music and the arts - working the Tate Modern, The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Eric Roberson, Georgia Anne Muldrow, Jocelyn Brown, Lyric L and art exhibitions and workshops across London including The South London Gallery & The Open Ealing. The scene evolves and ventures on...as do we. 'We Are Electric' is a project that celebrates the creativity and collaboration of all the 3rdStream members - embracing our diaspora and our central focus. We Are Electric is a movement to bring music and visual art together to chronical our journeys, across continents but with a UK energy. This first We Are Electric album encompasses broken beat, afrobeat, electronica, afro jazz, jazz funk and soul. The album is due for release on all digital platforms from 17th June 2024 The pre-release is available to download from BandCamp 29th May 2024
